Nuby SoftFlex Natural Nurser

In my very first review about Nuby I wrote about my son’s experience with the Nuby Grip N’Sip Sippy Cup. Our pediatrician is wanting him to start to drink from a cup, and Nuby has been my family’s training sippy cup of choice. We had such a wonderful experience with the Nuby Grip N’Sip Sippy Cupl we wanted to see if the success continues with Nuby’s Natural Touch line.  We decided on the Nuby SoftFlex Natural Nurser.

Moms want to provide the most natural feeling they can for their children – especially if they’re breastfeeding. Nuby created the Natural Touch product line with breastfed babies in mind to help support your decision in breastfeeding.  Nuby expanded that idea to all babies. In addition to breast pumps & breastfeeding accessories, the Nuby Natural Touch line includes bottles, sippy cups, solid feeding utensils & bowls, pacifiers, teethers, toys, and health products. I regret not being able to breastfeed when Leo was born, but no one could have predicted I would have to stay in a lying position for two weeks after my son’s birth either. If you go back to Nuby’s 4 stages of Nuby cups I would place this one as a stage 1 trainer cup. The SoftFlex Natural Nurser easy transitions between bottle to sippy cup.  Like the Nuby Grip’N Sip Sippy Cup the SoftFlex Natural Nurser’s spout is a Nuby No-Spill Spout.

The Natural SoftFlex Nurser has breastfeeding mother’s in mind. The nipple included is Nuby’s Breast Size Nipple.  This nipple mimics the shape, feel, and function of a mother’s breast.  The SoftFlex Breast Size nipple even has flexing action & anti colic vents. I’m not using the Natral SoftFlex Nurser primarily as a bottle, but on days when Leo is not wanting to use the spout I can easily replace it with the nipple.

Now, earlier in this review I said that SoftFlex Natural Nurser would be a Nuby Stage 1 cup. The SoftFlex Natural Nurser has a detachable handle.  When your child is confident enough to hold the Natural Nurser without a handle it can easily be popped off.

It didn’t come to a surprise Leo would be able to successfully use the SoftFlex Natural Nurser without any problems. He uses both the nipple & the spout like a pro. Now if his teeth would hurry up and come in I would be one very happy momma!
