I really need to talk more about my weight loss journey on my blog. It’s something I’ve wanted to focus on for awhile my blog but I’ve been afraid of showing my fat body to the world. After the Joplin Tornado I blew up to 315 pounds once I was released from the hospital. After I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes in October 2011 I was down to 280. Right before I gave birth to Leo I bloated up to 295 pounds. In February 2012 I dropped down to 254. I’ve been stuck at that number some time. I am now 239-240 pounds. I am still much larger than the 223 pounds I was in 2008, but I am very happy with the results I’ve accomplished on my own without pills. There was a time where I was 190 pounds. I got to that weight in 2008 using Phentermine. I regret taking those pills now. When I had my gallbladder removed I learned the type of gallstone I had was the type you can get from losing and gaining weight too fast. I blame the Phentermine to this day for my gallbladder loss, and it’s no ones fault but mine.
One of the most satisfying aspects of losing weight is finding clothes that fit and make me feel great. I’m finally noticing changes from a few months ago! I made a comparison picture for you all.
So how am I doing it? Right now I’m low carbing it, and in the morning I make a Milk Chocolate Slimfast Shake with peanut butter. I exercise in my home. Babies are great weights for lifting if anyone’s curious!
I’m debating on going completely on the Slimfast 3-2-1 one. All that entails is either 2 shakes or meals a day with a 500 calorie meal, and 3 snacks. Regardless, I’m still happy with my results so far. This is weight I’ve lost on my own without the help of a pill.

Great job! I am on the same journey. It isn’t easy, but I don’t want easy! If it were easy, it wouldn’t last
You’re doing awesome, lady. <3 What you've done so far is definitely something to be proud of and I'm so happy that you're beginning to feel better about yourself!
You are doing a really great job and you are looking very nice. I am also on a weight loss journey. I have lost a total of 49lbs so far. I know how hard it is to lose the weight, but you just have to do it and give it your all. I am doing it without any kind of drugs whatsoever. The only thing I take is vitamins and herbs.
Awesome job! You are getting great progress!
Great job! I’m need to do the same (again), especially after having my son. Keep going!
You’re doing great! I love the new blog look to!
