I remember when I found out I was pregnant with Leo. I had so many ideas in my head of how my pregnancy was to go, and what I was going to do. I kept telling family and friends in the beginning I would love to be pregnant with twins. The idea of having twins, identical or fraternal, was exciting for me until I got further along in pregnancy. With the complications I had from surviving a crush injury, and being plus size having any more than one baby would have probably not been the best thing for me. Regardless, I am still happy I gave birth to a very healthy baby boy on December 23, 2011.
I’ll admit as much as I love being a mother, there have been challenges. Now that I think about it I don’t know how I could have gone through these challenges with two little ones at the same time. I have so much respect for parents of multiple babies. I don’t know how they do it and for that I commend them.
