Leo’s First Word & Mom VoxBox!

The Pickle is over. We get him for 3 days now every other weekend instead of two days because of summer. We would get him more but baseball has consumed his life. He has practices on Mondays and Thursdays, games on Friday, and Tuesdays are guitar lessons. His schedule won’t clear up until July. This makes planning summer activities with him a little bit difficult but we will manage.  Leo was pretty cranky this weekend which made getting anything done a challenge. He’s been fairly happy the last two days. Every baby has a cranky day, right? Leo has started saying his first word. It isn’t the traditional mama or dada. It’s “Hi.” I’m relieved it wasn’t mama or dada first. I can see myself being let down if Leo said dada first and I’m not afraid of admitting that.

I know I’ve brought this up before but I wanted to talk about Influenster again. I was pre-selected to receive a Mom VoxBox from Influenster. Yesterday I received official confirmation of receiving a Mom VoxBox. Influenster stated on their Facebook that other Moms would start receiving their boxes the second week of June.  I’m so excited! This will be my first Mom VoxBox. I have NO clue what’s going to be in the box. I was hoping the pre-qualification survey would give us a hint. Haha.

At Influenster’s last Twitter party they made some very important announcements. Here’s what went down:

• Influenster’s redesign is set to be live in July. This redesign will include more badges.
• Influenster is now in Canada starting in July. If you live in Canada you will be able to be qualified for VoxBoxes as well.
• Influenster will start running their campaigns simultaneously. This means more opportunities for you to get qualified for a VoxBox and more!
• When the redesign is release Influenster will be switching to invite only.  If you haven’t joinedyet I recommend doing so before July before it goes to invite only.

Once I receive my box I’ll do a box opening video on Youtube and will get reviews up shortly after that.
