Welcome to the Give a Hoot Giveaway Hop hosted by A Spectacled Owl and Kids, Clutter & Chaos. When I was asked by Tara (A Spectacled Owl) if I would love to participate in a giveaway with nothing but owls I knew I had to sign up! I mean, seriously, who doesn’t love owls? They’re adorable! I’ve teamed up 19 other bloggers in some owl shenanigans.
The only requirement Tara requested from me is to give away is an owl themed prize. I’ll be quite frank with you guys: I had such a hard time CHOOSING what I wanted to have as a prize. Then it dawned on me: I would ask the help of my cousin. My cousin, Stephanie, is a freshman in at KU this year. While she’s been away earning a well deserved fancy schmancy medical degree my cousin decided to spend her time learning how to make homemade goodies like soap. On Christmas she made me an assortment of soap, lotions, and lip balm. I was in love with her stuff so much I have been inspired myself to make my own homemade goodies. My cousin has so much fun making soap she agreed to make a gift basket of homemade owl shaped soap.
I’m still waiting for an image from her of what the owl soaps look like since she likes to keep things super secret. Oh the suspense!
