Find Beauty In The Fall With Miracle-Gro

Gardening doesn’t have to be limited to the spring. It’s a common misconception.  Find beauty in the Fall by adding fall colors to your garden or landscape. Miracle-Gro is teaching people all about Fall gardening. Miracle-Gro has made it easy by sectioning the website into different regions. I live in Kansas which is part of the midwest. Miracle-Gro suggests planting  Mums. Now, my gardening skills are non existance. You know the saying green thumb? Well, I’m pretty sure I have a black thumb. It took me literally a day to realize a Mum is short for my all time favorite flower: the Chrysanthemum.

I still wanted to find a way to encorporate these beautiful flowers for the fall. How can I do that without actually gardening? I did what every other woman I know would do: Go to Pinterest. Then I realized something. I know how to cook. I thought to myself “Maybe I can bake something.” Before anyone even asks: my gardening is SO bad my very first herbs I grew this year died a horrible death. An hour of Pinterest browsing I found a project I knew I could do. I can make Mum Cupcakes.

I was inspired. I had to attempt at making my own Mum cupcakes. With cupcakes, sugar, and mini marshmallows I was able to get a similar result even if it wasn’t as pretty as my inspiration.
