I went to the Farmer’s Market again today. There was a better selection from Wednesday, but not enough for me to consider going there consistently. I was able to pick up fresh eggs, homemade strawberry jam, chives, and blueberries. That’s a start I guess! I really miss the Webb City Farmer’s Market. Tonight for dinner I’m making cilantro lime with an avocado salad. I’ll take lots of pictures. Food can be delicious and healthy too!
I’m really guilty at the moment. I got off track with eating healthier the last couple of weeks which resulted in a couple of pounds gained back. I hate this constant cycle of getting upset, eating a bowl of ice cream, then regretting the ice cream & feeling defeated. Is it possible food can be an addiction? Because at this point it’s really feeling like that. My friends & family tell me I’m beautiful the way I am but I don’t see it in the mirror. I really wish I could find the right community to join for some extra motivation. It’s been proven weight loss is more successful when you’re doing it with someone else. Do any of you out there have a weight loss community you’re apart of that you love?
I’ve never mentioned this on my blog but I am fairly decent at using Photoshop. I coded, and designed my entire blog myself. One of my favorite past times is Photo Editing. I recently completed some work for a good friend of mine Kelly Jo of her cute as a button son Alphonse. I’m nowhere near as good as some of my friends who do photography as a living, but I like to think my work is OK.
I even dabble in color manipulation. Here’s a sample of work I did for my friend Ashley. I turned her into a sassy red head.
There’s just not a market in my area for photo editing only. I don’t have a way to get a hold of a professional camera so I could dabble in Photography. I offer my photo editing services for free.
I’m off to make more Turkey Sausage Egg & Cheese McMuffins to store in the freezer. Leo is in the middle of his nap which is giving me some extra time to do things around the house. Tomorrow I’m making Crock Pot Enchiladas for my parents!
