Are you looking for an easy Easter candy alternative from Easter Bark or Easter Cupcakes? Try your hand at making at 100% edible Easter Bowls. That’s right: The bowl & contents of the bowl are edible! These are a fun and unique gift to give to loved ones on Easter. The best news? It’s super easy to make. All of the items I used were found in my local Walmart’s Seasonal Section.
Ingredients Needed:
- Almond Bark
- Edible Easter Grass
- Egg shaped candies
- Water Balloons
- Peeps
The first thing you’re going to want to do is create the edible bowls. Constructing the bowls is the most time consuming part of this recipe, but it can be done very easily. I do recommend making extra bowls in case a balloon explodes or the bowl breaks. I followed this Chocolate Bowl Recipe to make my bowls. I definitely recommend making extra bowls in case a balloon explodes or a bowl breaks. Both white & chocolate almond bark work great. Don’t be afraid to experiment! I might use the Wilton colored candy melts next time.
Once your bowls are ready it’s time to fill them with goodies! At the bottom of the bowl place the edible Easter grass, drop in a few different egg shaped candies, and top with a marshmallow Peep. For my edible Easter Bowl I used Mini Robin Eggs, Starburst Jellybeans, and M&Ms.
See? These edible Easter Bowls are easy to make, and will definitely delight your family. Let me know if you decide to make these for your loved ones in the comment section below.
