I’m always on the look out for healthy drink alternatives for my family. I love water, don’t get me wrong. I even jazz up my water. Sometimes you might just get a hankering for something that isn’t water. So, when I got the opportunity in my inbox to review Cascade Ice I couldn’t pass it up. When I count calories my biggest downfall has been when I drink a sugary drink. The problem with sugary drinks is they are empty calories. Empty calories will leave you hungry.
Cascade Ice Sparkling Water is a sodium free, sugar free, caffeine free, and gluten free drink. There are 21 flavors to choose from from regular sparkling water to cocktail mixers to organic water. They make it easy to come up with your own healthy drink concoctions. If you need inspiration they have a Pinterest board devoted to Cascade Ice Drink Recipes. There are lots of fun & unique recipes there.
I was sent Pink Grapefruit, Lemonade, Coconut, Margarita Cocktail Mixer, and Cosmopolitan Cocktail Mixer for reviewing. Now I’ll admit I’m pretty picky when it comes to drinks. I have had a bad experience in the past with sugar free drinks leaving a chemical aftertaste in my mouth. None of the drinks I got to review had a chemical aftertaste. All of the flavors were very light and weren’t overly sweet. My favorite out all of the drinks I was sent was Coconut. It was the most refreshing, in my opinion. The least favorite was Lemonade. Out of all of the drinks sent Lemonade was the only one that tasted artificial for me.
Even though water is the best drink anyone can have it’s alright to switch it up a bit and drink an alternative. If you have Cascade Ice in your area you should give it a try.
Cascade Ice is available in all 50 states. You can see where it’s available at their Store Locator. Follow Cascade Ice on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.

These sound fantastic! I’d love to try the margarita mixer.

They have a lovely recipe on their website for a mean margarita.
Hi Desiree,
I am glad to hear the only one you didn’t like was the lemonade. I am allergic to lemons and now I won’t be tempted to try that one and regret it later! I have been leery of the new “ice” drinks because I have tried to stick to water, water, and more water. I may have to add in an “ice” now and then for a little variety!
Thanks for the great review,
Victoria

Thanks for stopping by! I was pleasantly surprised at how non-artificial everything tasted with the exception of lemonade, but I will admit I prefer real lemonade over anything lemonade flavored.

oooh, these would be great for my MIL who has been told by her doc to drink more water, yet she hates water… thanks for the post
I hated water for the longest time. She might also want to check out my 10 ways to jazz up water post. http://themiraclemomma.com/10-ways-to-jazz-up-your-water/
Thank you so much for posting about this. I would love to try these. I hate the way diet soda and most artificial drinks taste and sometimes (as much as I love it) water just doesn’t cut it. I end up reaching for the Dr. Pepper and get all nice and bloated, not to mention full or caffeine and sugar. This sounds like it would be a great way to get that break from water in. Thanks again! =)
Sounds fabulous, I would like to try it.
Thanks for the review–these sound great!
This sounds good. I dont drink pop but somerimes I just get super sick of plain old water.
I’d love to try the pink grapefruit kind.
Sounds good. I don’t drink soda or coffee. I do get bored with plain water. I’ll try it.
Looks very refreshing! I am addicted to Diet Coke… looking for something healthier and might have to give Cascade Ice a try!
