Have you ever had chips made out of beans before? This isn’t a practical joke. I’m talking about beans made with 100% beans.  With Beanitos, chips made out of beans are a reality.

Beanitos have so many health benefits for people looking to slim their waist, diabetics wanting a snack that won’t run up their blood sugar levels, and for parents searching for a better alternative to the potato chip for their children. The secret? Beans. The simple bean has been proven multiple times to be a health food staple. Don’t believe me? Google it.  Every snack Beanitos produces are 100% corn free. Beanitos also pride themselves in being gluten, wheat,  soy , potato, trans fat,  and cholesterol  free. Beanitos  are verified non-GMO, gluten free, lab tested and certified low glycemic & kosher.

Want to know how Beanitos stacks up with some popular chips on the market? Beanitos made a comparison chart for consumers.  In a single serving of Beanitos (10 chips) there are 5 grams of fiber. I’m not going to spoil the comparison chart for whoever wants to read it, however there is one snack on the chart where you will have to eat 16o chips to get same amount of fiber in a single serving of Beanitos.

Now, some people may worry about the not-so-pleasant side effects of beans. You won’t need to worry about those side effects while eating Beanitos. They figured out a way to make sure those side effects won’t happen. Now if someone could figure out how to make regular beans not create flatulence I’ll be set.

Beanitos sent me 1 of each of their flavors for review: Black Bean, Black Bean Chipotle BBQ, Pinto Bean & Flax, and Pinto Bean & Flax Seed Cheddar Cheese.

Beanitos Chips

You’ll be surprised at how much flavor each one has. The Chipotle BBQ, and Cheddar Cheese have quite a kick to them. If you like spice Beanitos, Chipotle BBQ & Cheddar Cheese are perfect. Unfortunately I have to eat spicy food in moderation. Ever since I had my gallbladder removed in 2010 I literally get sick any time I eat a lot of any food relatively spicy or greasy. However, my husband absolutely loved both flavors of chips.  The Pinto Bean & Flax Seed  reminded me of a lightly salted cracker. My personal favorite was Black Bean. Black Bean reminded me of a tortilla chip. I wish I had guacamole on hand while sampling Beanitos. I would have loved to pair the Black Bean with guacamole and salsa.

I might not purchase the Chipotle BBQ & Cheddar Cheese for myself to enjoy personally, but knowing there are chips on the market that are not only flavorful but good for my family is such a relief. I will be re-purchasing Black Bean for my personal enjoyment. When I do I’ll have guacamole on hand.

Beanitos is available in the US & Canada for you to enjoy. You can also buy Beanitos online at Snack Warehouse and the Beanitos Online Store. Follow Beanitos on Facebook, and Twitter to keep up to date with the latest from Beanitos.
